About Us

UNIsorted is like an all you can eat buffet without the sickening after taste. It's a one-stop-shop for everything a student needs. We provide daily small bite size pieces of information on both a large and personalised scale to suit you. It’s our target to supply students with the vast range of services they need to survive their university journey.

We believe that students deserve the best experience possible and we will make it our priority to achieve that. During these tough economic times, it is important that each individual is achieving their full potential and providing a strong foundation for their future employment prospects. We will not only supply you with daily personalised information but we are also there to help solve your university related problems, all you have to do is contact us.

About The Founders

The two UNIsorted founders both studied in Cheshire at Manchester Metropolitan University. Anthony Horn & Sean Barber both studied Business Management, however, Sean focused on the Marketing route and Anthony focused on the Financial route. Having worked in Marketing during University, Sean now has over 4 years experience in Marketing and has also worked in America, Spain and the Czech Republic. Likewise, Anthony worked during University, however this was in the Finance sector, he now has over 4 years experience in the Finance industry and he has also worked in America. They are both dedicated to ensure UNIsorted becomes a great website for students and ensure the students represented by the website have everything a students needs in one place.

What We Do

We are here to create the ultimate and unique student service. As this is a new project, please be patient with us as we are new to this. We will be continually striving to improve and strengthen our service and therefore your feedback and support is imperative. We will be giving you a great service from the very beginning. Based on your current situation and preferences, we will personalise the information you receive and give you the choice to select whatever interests you the most. We cover everything from the serious aspects such as finance and housing to the not so serious stuff such as your social lives, nights out and networking.Don't forget, the more information you give us, the more personalised we can make the service to you.

It’s our objective to make all the articles, brief, interesting and jargon-free. You can comment on them, rate them and let us know what you think, we need your input as much as possible! As this site is all about you as students, every month we will give you the opportunity to rate your university and comment on any issues, good and bad, that you feel others may benefit from knowing. Our main objective is to be their for students, no matter what the problem is, you can contact us. We also co host student networking events and workshops, but that’s it, we don’t want to brag anymore.

Why

So why do we care about students? Well, UNIsorted was created by two recent graduates from MMU Cheshire who thought of the idea whilst sitting in a lecture. The idea came to us when we thought 'why is there no website out there which helps students in all the areas of student life? One that gives you the information you want and is there to listen and help students?' We feel university students pay so much money they deserve to be better supported, informed and given more opportunities to stand them in good stead. This is our passion and we want to be the front runner in making it happen.

This is just the beginning for us. We wanted to start basic because as the phrase goes, don’t try and run before you can walk and hopefully we will continue to grow promising the most effective and valuable service possible. We can’t tell you the exact details but believe us when we say, some special things will be happening. Make sure you come back on a daily basis to check for the updates we will be introducing. There are exciting times ahead for UNIsorted!
